Hello, my name is Dwight Wilson Jr. I currently work as a coach at De La Salle High School and with Golden State Sports Academy, where I’m committed to developing young athletes and pouring into the next generation. I have been pursuing my degree in Kinesiology at California Baptist University. After years of hard work, I’m now just two classes away from graduating. The final courses I need, Research Methods and Evaluation in Kinesiology (KIN 473) and Movement Experiences for Middle School Students (KIN 404), are both upper-level classes that require significant time, research, and focus, including video review and the analysis of movement patterns. While scholarships and grants have covered most of the cost of my education, this semester I was only awarded a partial grant, so I am seeking support to help cover the remaining tuition needed to officially finish my degree.
At the same time, my family is preparing to move into our first home, and we are excited for this new chapter in our lives. Becoming homeowners is something we have prayed and worked toward for a long time, but it also comes with significant financial responsibility. Between moving expenses, deposits, furnishing our home, and covering unexpected transition costs, this season has stretched us financially in ways we did not fully anticipate.
This is about more than finishing school; it’s about setting an example for my children, continuing to grow in my career, and creating greater stability for my family during a major life transition. If you’re able to support in any way, whether through a donation or simply by sharing my story, my family and I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being part of this final step in my journey.
