On August 10th, our hearts were shattered as we said goodbye to Dwight Owens — a devoted father, loving husband, caring brother, cherished friend, and valued coworker.

Dwight was truly one of a kind. He gave his all for his wife, children, and everyone lucky enough to know him. He pushed hard to provide for his family, always putting others before himself. Whether it was lending a hand, sharing a laugh, or offering words of encouragement, Dwight made sure people felt cared for and never alone.

As the provider of his home, his sudden passing leaves not only a deep emotional void but also a financial one. His wife and children are now facing the difficult task of laying him to rest while navigating the reality of life without his support.

We are raising funds to cover the costs of Dwight’s funeral and burial, as well as to help his family through this immediate and overwhelming time. Hi, my name is Dwight Owens. I’m a 37-year-old father of six, and I’m reaching out for help during the most difficult time of my life.

A few months ago, I started experiencing severe stomach pain and could barely eat. After multiple visits to the hospital, I received devastating news — I was diagnosed with Stage 3 esophageal cancer.

Before my diagnosis, I was a full-time CDL truck driver and the sole provider for my family. I took pride in working hard to take care of my six kids and keep a roof over our heads. But chemotherapy has taken a heavy toll on my body. I lost my driving position because I can no longer work consistently. The physical demands of my job are more than I can handle right now.

Since then, everything has started to fall apart. Medical bills are stacking up, and all my household bills are behind. I’ve done everything I can to keep things going, but the financial burden is more than I can carry alone.

I’m asking for your help to raise $25,000 to cover:
