Help Dwight and Michelle Through a Challenging Time

Dwight Huston's recent health challenges have tested his strength and resilience. After undergoing two open-heart surgeries, the second of which occurred in January 2024 at Houston Baylor Saint Luke's Medical Center, Dwight's recovery has been complicated by infections and subsequent surgeries.

Following his initial surgery, Dwight spent 10 days in Houston, including a week-long hospital stay. However, setbacks arose when he developed an infection shortly after returning home in early February. This required another hospitalization in Wichita, where he underwent intensive treatment and surgery to address the infection's impact on his recovery. As of now, Dwight currently is in Houston undergoing ongoing treatment and recovery following his recent surgeries. He is expected to remain in Houston for maybe at least another week before being able to return home.

Throughout these medical trials, Dwight's devoted wife, Michelle, has been by his side, supporting him every step of the way. Their journey has not only been emotionally challenging but has also taken a toll on their finances. With Dwight unable to work during his recovery, and with ongoing medical expenses accumulating, they are facing significant financial strain.
