Hafa Adai! My name is Dwayne Santos from the beautiful island of Guam. In 2024 I was diagnosed with Osteomyilitis (bone infection) and due to diabetes and a weakend immune system, my body was unable to fight the infection. I was able to prevent infection from spreading by antibiotic treatment, however, constant antibiotic would have lead to kidney failure. So to prevent kidney failure I had to amputate my right leg in January this year. After the amputation, I needed several of months for the wound to heal.

Now, the wound has healed and it is time to have a prosthetic leg made.

The prosthetic leg is not covered under insurance, and the price is way beyond what I can afford.

I am seeking your assistance in allowing me the chance to walk again. I thank you for your time and assistance.
