My name is Dwayne, and for the past seven months, life has been a daily struggle. After losing my job, I found myself living out of my truck for six months, doing everything I could just to get by. Every day has been a challenge—finding food, staying safe, and trying to keep hope alive. I’ve spent countless nights in my truck, tired of being out in the elements and going hungry, just wishing for a chance to get my life back on track.
Recently, after months of searching and praying, I was finally offered a good-paying job in California working on military drones—a permanent position that could change everything for me. But now, I’m facing a new challenge: I don’t have the money for gas to get there, food for the trip, or the work clothes and tools I need to start. My truck desperately needs a couple of new front tires and an oil change before I can make the 1,700-mile journey. I also need steel toe boots, cargo work pants, and a small toolbox for my tools. This job is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I just want to get back to a stable life where I don’t have to worry about losing work or living out of my truck anymore.
Any help anybody can find in their heart to help me, even though you don't know me, would mean the world to me. It would change my life absolutely, and I would very much appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Thank you in advance for any help you can give to get me one step closer to reaching my goal and getting off the streets. I’m an avionics technician with 35 years of experience, and this is the first time I’ve ever been this far down. I just need a little help to get to where I belong. Anything you can do is a blessing, and I am truly grateful for your support.
