Hi everyone,
My name is Nicole Pinto and I’m reaching out with love and hope to ask for help for our sweet dog, Dutch. Dutch is more than a pet—he’s family. Most of all, he’s Logan’s best friend, his loyal buddy who has been by his side through everything.
3 days ago, Dutch was diagnosed with a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear—a painful knee injury that makes it difficult for him to walk, run, or even stand comfortably. The vet has recommended surgery as the only effective option to relieve his pain and help him get back to the happy, active life he deserves.
The cost of the procedure, along with anesthesia, post-op care, and medications, is estimated at $5,500. Unfortunately, it’s more than we can afford right now with the other unexpected expenses that have come our way, and we’re heartbroken to see him in pain while we try to find a way to cover it.
Dutch and Logan have an incredible bond. They do everything together—playing with each others toys (Dutch mainly chews on them lol), snuggling on the couch, even sleeping side by side.
We’re doing everything we can to help Dutch heal, but we can’t do it alone. If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, we would be deeply grateful. Every dollar brings us closer to helping Dutch walk, run, and play again—right where he belongs: by Logan’s side.
Even if you can’t give right now, simply sharing this page would mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for supporting Dutch, Logan, and our family during this unexpected venture.
With gratitude,
Nikki, Johnny, Logan & Dutch
