In 2018, Dutch came into our lives, and what started as a temporary stay quickly turned into a forever home on our farm—and we have never looked back. He is a gentle giant, full of love and loyalty, but it took an entire year before he finally felt safe enough to come inside the house. Since then, he has been the heart of our family, bringing us endless joy.

Three and a half years ago, Dutch was diagnosed with lymphoma, but he beat the odds, staying in remission longer than any other dog his oncologist has treated. Unfortunately, his cancer has returned. We have the option to do chemotherapy again, which could give us more precious time, but the treatment is incredibly expensive—especially because of his size. Without it, we only have about a month left with him.
