Help Dusty Littrell

Donation protected
On the morning of December 3rd Dusty and his grandpa Rocky Littrell were on their way to the Wise Co Toy Run when they were involved in a motorcycle accident just one mile north of our small town Alvord. Dusty, who is 14 and attends 7th grade at Alvord Middle School was care flighted to Cook Children’s Hospital one Fort Worth. Upon arrival Dusty was immediately taken into surgery to repair his badly damaged right arm. His first of several surgeries lasted for over 3 and 1/2 hours. The doctors were able to place pins and screws to stabilize the broken bones but not able to repair the severe road rash located on his wrist. Dusty will need at least 2 skin grafts in order to help the badly damaged tissue on his wrist.
Dusty is on the 4th floor of Cook Children’s Hospital in room 4314 and would absolutely love to have you stop in and say hello.
I’ve known Dusty since we moved to Alvord in 2010. He is in the same grade as my 13 year old son. Dusty has to be the kindest soul I’ve ever known. He loves everyone. And the good people of our community love him just as much.
The part that sucks here is that Eddie, Dusty’s dad doesn’t have health Insurance. And we all know that Dr bills add up fast. So I’m asking you for help. If you can’t donate at this time I completely understand. I truly do. But I am asking that you share this page. But before you do share, please select public on the privacy tab for this post in hopes we reach as many people as possible.
As of now Dusty will be in the hospital for up to 14 days. Maybe longer.

Dusty’s Grandfather, Rocky Littrell is currently in ICU at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. He was also care flighted yesterday after the accident. Drs thought the extent his injuries stopped at a broken collarbone which they operated on yesterday. Today Rocky was told he is paralyzed from the chest down. And that he would never ride a motorcycle again. He is in a traction bed as I type this post with this loving wife by his side. His only concern is his grandson. Please continue to pray for this family as the days ahead will be challenging and uncharted territory for them all.

If you wish to give directly to the family you can write a check out to Eddie Littrell and take it to Legend Bank in Alvord. I can also come to you to pick up any donations.

I will do my very best to post updates once daily to keep you all aware of Dusty’s and his grandpas status.
Please remember to share this go fund me. This family will forever be grateful for every penny they receive.
