Hello!

For years now I have been looking after a small group of feral and wayward cats in my neighborhood. Each one named and loved.

This past December ‘Dusty’ showed up on my doorstep starved and crying. He knew that he had found his way to a safe & caring place and stayed. It hasn’t been easy having another mouth to feed but look at that face! I couldn’t say no.

A few days ago property management informed me that I am no longer allowed to feed the cats on or near the property and I am heartbroken.

I’m working with friends to relocate the nearby colony to a safe place as quickly as possible!

Dusty is incredibly special and I really want to get him into Hermitage No-Kill Shelter here in Tucson, Arizona. They are an amazing organization and he will be safe & cared for there (for life!) while he waits for his forever family to find him.

He is VERY friendly and has a ton of personality. Quite the Casanova before being neutered-or at least he thought so! He hasn’t lost his swagger and struts his incredibly fluffy plume of a tail through the courtyard like he owns the place.

I’m reaching out because the intake fee at Hermitage No-Kill is $330 and I’m just not in a position to cover the expense. I feel really awkward asking, but need to get this sweet boy somewhere safe as quickly as possible.
