Hi, my name is Jill and I am reaching out to help get my sister, Dusty Schorr some support. She has been hit so hard the last few years and could really use some help. 2020 and covid hit with her husband's hours being cut, but the biggest factory has been her major health issues. She was just released from the hospital after being in since August 11th. She had a sore that would not heal and then attacked her lower body (complications of diabetes and circulation issues). She has had 3 major surgeries: left foot toes amputated, right foot toes amputated, which unfortunately did not heal which led to right foot/lower leg amputated and most recent was a stent put in to prevent more blockage in her heart. She must find a new place to live because her current apartment has several steps and there is also a mold issue that the rental company as yet to fix. Finding affordable housing around orange county is a struggle. She needs to stay local for drs and family to help. If you are able, please consider making a donation or at least sharing her story. If you have ever met Dusty, you know her heart is huge and is always willing to help others in need. I am trying to raise some money to help her with the move and try to relieve some of the heavy stress this all has been on her.
