Help Dustin's Loved Ones Honor His Legacy
Donation protected
My name is Colt Messer, and I went to school and graduated with this incredible man, Dustin. Losing such a good man puts life in perspective. I am half the man he was, but I feel called to help this beautiful family, even if it is a little bit. I love you all and would appreciate you considering giving what you can. ❤️ Much Love ✌️
There is no easy way to say this: the world lost a great man today. He was the best son, husband, father, and friend anyone could ever ask for. He never met a stranger and brought light and kindness to everyone he encountered. His generosity knew no bounds, and his laughter could brighten even the darkest days. The world was a better place with him in it, and his legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will truly be missed, but his spirit will remain with us always.
On November 8th, he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had spread to his liver. Doctors gave him 3 to 6 months, and with treatment, they were giving him a year at most. He chose to opt out of treatment to live out his remaining days as normal as possible.
