Dustin is a hardworking mechanic who has always been there for others, whether it’s helping a friend move or lending a hand at work. He’s known for his kindness and his willingness to do anything for anyone. Recently, Dustin was admitted to the hospital, and doctors are working to determine if he has lymphoma. The uncertainty has been overwhelming for our family, and we’re still waiting for answers.

Dustin’s older brother has been by his side almost nonstop, and I visit him daily. This has all happened so quickly, and it’s been incredibly stressful for all of us. Dustin is holding up as best he can, but not being able to work has left him without any income. Disability benefits won’t start until after his biopsy, so he’s unable to pay his rent, cover his bills, or even buy groceries. We don’t know when he’ll be able to come home, and the financial strain is adding to an already difficult situation.

Dustin would never ask for help himself, but as his mother, I want to do everything I can to make sure he doesn’t lose his home while he’s fighting this battle. Everyone who knows Dustin loves him, and I hope that by sharing his story, we can rally the support he needs to get through this uncertain time.
