On the afternoon of September 19, 2025, Dustin was in an accident on his way to work. He sustained fractures of the left transverse processes of the L2, L3, and L4 lumbar, as well as trauma to his left knee. Unable to work since his accident, he has temporarily moved in with his father to continue his healing journey. We thank God every day & are blessed beyond measure to still have him with us, as it could have been so much worse!

Dustin doesn't have health insurance, and medical costs without insurance are outrageous. (ER, ambulance, MRIs, X-rays, prescriptions, back and knee braces, doctor visits, physical therapy, etc.) We are unsure at this time if any surgical procedures will be necessary.

Along with the added medical costs, he also has his monthly living expenses to continue to take care of as well. He’s very grateful for the help he has received so far from his father & I, but we can only do so much. I know he's anxious to get back to work and his normal routine, but he still has more healing to do.

Please pray for wisdom for the medical team working with Dustin, for a successful treatment plan & for guidance to help Dustin on his path moving forward. Also, if you're moved to help with a donation of any amount towards his financial obligations, it would be a tremendous blessing as well.
