Hi everyone,

My name is Tenika, I never imagined I’d be in a position to ask for help, but I’m choosing humility over silence.

I’m a stay-at-home mom, and my vehicle was my way of bringing in income through DoorDash and other delivery services. It allowed me to contribute financially while still being present for my family.

Recently, my 2016 Kia Sorento began having serious engine issues. The engine shakes, burns oil rapidly, and the check engine light is on. If you are familiar with Kia’s GDi engine, you know the engine is terrible. It’s no longer reliable or safe to drive regularly.

Since the car stopped being dependable, I’ve lost my ability to earn through deliveries. I’ve also been actively applying for jobs to bring in additional income, but unfortunately I’ve been declined so far.

With limited income at the moment, I’m unable to cover major repairs or replace the vehicle on my own.

I’m asking for help to:

• Pay down the remaining loan balance

• Repair or replace the vehicle

• Get back to earning and supporting my household
