Help DuoK9 Save Khale: Urgent Vet Funds Needed

Hello everyone, my name's Casey Wilkinson and I’m the owner of DogWalkerPro. The dog you see pictured above is Khale, and she really needs our help!

One of my best friends in the whole wide world (pictured above), and my dog's amazing K9 Trainer, Gaby from DuoK9, is currently at the ER Vet in Gainesville with her soul dog Khale (also pictured above) who’s fighting for her life in critical condition.

In order for the vet to start testing and stabilizing her immediately, the bill is already at $7,000 with the possibility of reaching up to $12,000.

This is an extremely unexpected and unrealistic expense for her to endure, but she will do anything that it takes to save Khale.

She is not the type to ask for help, and especially more so from working in the animal industry, would never ask, but these are those times where we need the help.

DuoK9 has always been on the helping end. By taking in rescues, training, and rehoming dogs, giving them second chances. So now I’m reaching out on her behalf to hope with the power of social media combined we can all help save Khale. I will be sure to keep you all posted, step by step, with Khale’s progress.

This is currently happening only 6 days after the sudden and unexpected loss of her other K9, Mazikeen, on 1/19/25. Mazikeen was my dog's sister, Scar. She passed at only 3 years old from a complication from spay surgery. Gaby has been navigating the loss of her baby and now her other one is sick and in need of our help.

1.25 UPDATE: CT Scan showed huge mass in her spleen bursted and was slowly killing her. The mass and spleen have been removed. Prognosis isn’t great but they don’t know Khalee like we do, she is so strong and will kick cancers ass! Regardless she is awake, but staying overnight for monitoring. The road to recovery will now begin and her mom will be sure to make sure to maintain her quality of life.

1.26 UPDATE: Khalee woke up in better spirits today. Her recovery has officially begun. She does have a heart murmur now so she has to have more testing and treatments done. The vet said she will be staying an additional two days at least. She is doing well, they have now increased lidocaine to help with her arrhythmia and are closely monitoring her overnight.

As you can all imagine, the bill continues to grow…
