My name is Dunaia, and I’m reaching out because I need help getting my car back after it was repossessed. The bank said I was four months behind on payments, but the situation was much l more complicated. I lost my job for a while and couldn’t keep up, but once I was working again, I did my best to pay what I owed. Even when my account wasn’t negative, the payments would come out, but then the bank would reverse them after a few days. I never received any notice about being behind, and when I called to ask what happened, they put me on a do-not-call list. Now, I need help to get my car back, and I’m running out of options.

Not having my car has made it impossible for me to get to work. I work with kids who have disabilities, and all the materials I use to help my clients are in my car. This job means everything to me, and I know how much my clients rely on me. 

The community has always meant a lot to me. In my field, I’m constantly giving back and doing whatever I can to help others, even when it means giving my last. Now, I’m asking for help and support from anyone who can give it. Any contribution would mean so much and help me get back on my feet, return to work, and be there for my family.
