Hello, my name is Mary, and I am fundraising for Dulce.

Dulce is my sister and she is the mother of a 9-year-old little girl. My sister was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night, April 23, due to her blood pressure being 280. That night, she suffered a stroke due to a blood clot that formed. As a result, she had to undergo brain surgery which left her in critical condition and in the intensive care unit. The road to recovery is lengthy, and although the surgery was successful, we await for her to wake up. I am organizing this fundraiser to help with medical expenses and therapy.

Dulce has always brought a smile to those who surround her and her world revolves around her daughter. She was in the process of completing her studies in psychology in order to provide a better life for her little one.

Hola, mi nombre es Mary y estoy recaudando para Dulce.

Dulce es mi hermana y es la madre de una pequeña de 9 años. En el 23 de abril, martes en la noche, mi hermana fue llevada de urgencia al hospital porque tenía la presión arterial en 280. Esa noche sufrió de un derrame cerebral debido a un coágulo de sangre. Consecuentemente, fue sometida a una cirugía cerebral que la dejó en estado crítico y en cuidado intensivos. El camino hacia la recuperación es largo y aunque la cirugía fue exitosa, aún esperamos que despierte. Estamos recaudando fondos para ayudar con los gastos médicos y terapias.

Dulce siempre ha traído felicidad a quienes la rodean y su mundo gira en torno a su hija. Ella estaba en el proceso de finalizar sus estudios de psicología para poder proveer una mejor vida a su pequeña.
