Duke is my Siberian husky and my best friend. I rescued him from a shelter when he was just a year old, and since then, he’s been my loyal companion on every hike and outdoor adventure. Duke’s love for life and the outdoors is infectious—he’s always the first to greet me at the door and the last to leave my side.

Today, Duke hurt himself while chasing a squirrel in our backyard. He injured his back and now can’t walk on his own. The vet says he needs surgery to fix his spine so he can have a chance to walk and play again. It’s heartbreaking to see him struggle, and I want to do everything I can to help him get back on his feet.

I work full-time as a caregiver for disabled children, so I know how to provide the best care and support during recovery. I’m committed to giving Duke all the love and attention he needs, but I can’t afford the surgery costs on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out for help.
