Hello, we need your help to save Duke the Dog…………..

Some of you may or may not know Duke - Duke is a wonderful Dog we found at the villa we were recently staying at in Crete on holiday. Duke has become quite famous on the Gouves Facebook site!

For those that don’t know Duke and his story ….. Well as I said, we found him at the villa and was confirmed by the management company as a stray. Despite us asking him to be taken to a shelter, he got dumped and this went on several times (we managed to rescue him once but second time not so lucky) - he got dumped at the beach and then at a Hotel, and then couldn’t be located for over a week. He has now been found and is being kept safe for collection to be taken to a Shelter or Foster Home.

To come to the UK he is going to need a lot of help - vets and any required medical help, jabs, passport and 21 days quarantine. Once this has all been sorted, he will then need to get to the UK. Where he can be rehomed.

Duke is a wonderful Dog. He is so kind and playful (absolutely wonderful with our baby daughter). Duke honestly deserves the best life. As opposed to wondering the streets of Crete and being thrown from pillar to post, not knowing where is next meal or bit of water is coming from.

I plead that anyone who can help, please donate what you can (every little bit helps). We will of course be contributing ourselves but we don’t have the funds or near enough to ensure Duke’s future.
