Duke was just adopted into what should have been the happiest new chapter of his life — a loving home, safety, and a fresh start. But within days, everything took a devastating turn.

After being neutered at the shelter, his new family immediately noticed something was very wrong. His incision looked horrendous, and they didn’t hesitate; they rushed him straight to the emergency vet.

Since then, Duke has undergone extensive testing and care. What was supposed to be a routine procedure has turned into a medical crisis. There is concern he may have a serious bleeding disorder, and he will likely need a life-saving blood transfusion.
