UPDATE: As most of you already know, unfortunately Duke has lost his battle with pneumonia and has very sadly passed away today. The funds that all of you were nice enough to donate will be used to cover a portion of the medical bills that Justin and Natalie are faced with. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting them at this time. They are truly appreciative.
Hi. My name is Kate. My best friends, Natalie and Justin are going through a very difficult time with their dog, Duke. Anyone who knows Natalie and Justin, know they are kindest, sweetest, most generous people you could ask to have in your life. They would do anything for anyone at anytime.
Duke is not just a dog. To his mom and dad, Duke is their whole world. He is who they live for. He is worth more than the stars and the moon. This dog is more than just a pet. He is their son.
Over the last four days, Duke has seen 4 veterinarians. He has not been feeling well. Something isn't "right". One of the vets told his mom, Natalie, that Duke suffers from anxiety. But she knew better.
To make a long story, short, Duke has been diagnosed with aspirate pneumonia. This is a very tricky infection that needs optimal treatment. Duke's parents have spent $6,000 in the last four days at different vets.
Now, today, to admit Duke for life-saving treatment, the animal hospital requires a $6,667 deposit. (See estimate attached)
Can you please help Duke and his parents so that he can stay in the hospital on oxygen and fluids with around-the-clock care?
Please pray. Duke needs to live. He can have a long life ahead of him. Please help keep his heart beating....
Anything you can afford to give is very helpful and very much appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
