I'm reaching out to share the heartbreaking story of my best friend Duke. He is 6 years old and was just going on runs with mom last week, but recently he has been facing a severe health crisis. He has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, and the complications have now extended to his kidneys, putting him in the fight of his life.
