Hi!
My name is Melissa and I am a vet student at LMU about to begin my second year.
At the beginning of May, my cat, Duck, showed signs of having a urinary blockage, which started us down the path to him needing emergency surgery on Friday, June 27th. I brought him to the emergency vet for the first time in the beginning of May, and have had to bring him 3 times since to be hospitalized each time. If anyone has had a cat with these problems, you know the veterinary bills can add up very quickly. As a vet student, I know how difficult it is to make these decisions and give our pets all they need. At this point, the bills for Duck's multiple hospitalizations and surgery have become difficult to manage. I know many people do not have much to spare, but anything helps for a vet student and her cat who will now need specialized food and medication long term.
Thank you!
