I'm starting this to help my parents with expenses related to my dad's cancer. He has been bravely battling lung cancer for a decade now, and his body is tired and he is afraid that his fight may be nearing the end. If you know my dad, which so many people do, you know he's the last to ask for help, but the first to be there when help is needed. I had asked him if he wanted me to start a GoFundMe years ago when his cancer first came about, but he was too modest and refused the help. However, he is now entering hospice and my mom is no longer working and is staying home to take care of him every day. Therefore, not only is money now very tight, he is also worried about the expenses left after he is no longer with us, related to funeral expenses and such and doesn't want to leave my mom with that burden.
