Help DTL and the Crew!

Hi, I'm Meg and I've started this fundraiser to help support our beloved DTL

(Downtown Lounge - 606 Congress Street, Portland ME).

For those who don't know, DTL experienced major water damnage after a fire in one of the third floor apartments last week caused an immense amount of water from the spinkler system to drain down into the bar and its basement. There is currently no-reopning date.

DTL is an indispensiable part of the 600 block here in Portland (State Theatre, Geno's Rock Club, Coast City Comics). Being closed means the crew at DTL are out of work for the time being while owner, Kitty Taylor, works to reopen as soon as possible. Anyone who has experienced the effects of fire in any way can understand how stressful and dire these times can feel (I speak from direct experience. THE WORST).

This fund is to not only to help some of our favorite bartenders pay their bills until they can get back to work but help with the many costs associated with re-opening. All funds will go to Kitty Taylor and the Crew (Brandon, Ethan, Emma, Chase + Hannah).
