At Della School of Coding and Design in Columbus, Ohio, we believe that every child—no matter their income, background, or neighborhood—deserves access to innovation, joy, and opportunity.

Our private elementary school and daycare serve low-income and inner-city children, giving them a high-quality education rooted in creativity, technology, and hands-on STEAM learning. Our students are bright, curious, and full of potential—but our school is missing two essential things that every child should have:

A school bus to ensure safe and reliable transportation

A playground where students can play, explore, and build friendships

Why We Need Your Help

Many of our families face daily challenges with transportation. Without a bus, some children struggle to attend regularly, and field trips—those powerful, real-world learning moments—become difficult to organize.

Our students also don’t yet have an age-appropriate playground. Recess happens on fenced-in pavement and a small toddler area. A safe, engaging outdoor space would give our children the chance to develop their social, emotional, and physical skills while simply being kids.

At Della, we teach our students to dream big and build boldly—but to do that, they need spaces that support their learning, movement, and imagination.

We’re raising $50,000 to fund two major projects:

• A small school bus for daily routes and field trips, giving every student equal access to the full Della experience

• A safe, creative playground designed for both our elementary students and our youngest learners in daycare
