Help DSA Louisville attend the Convention

This coming August, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is holding their National Convention in Atlanta. This is an event where DSA chapters from all over the country can send delegates to vote on issues of national importance. Over the course of four days, we will decide what shape the DSA will take in the coming years. Needless to say, it is a very important event for DSA members to attend. 

Our local chapter, the Louisville DSA, has elected a delegation to attend the convention in Atlanta. However, it will take money to get us there. We need funding for travel costs and hotel rooms for the duration of the convention, as well as money to cover the convention registration fees. Altogether, we are asking for $2,000 to get our whole delegation to Atlanta and back. The rewards from this trip won't just benefit our members: it will benefit the entire organization nationwide. 

The convention takes place on August 1st-4th, 2019. We will need to raise $2,000 by the end of July so that we can participate. Anything you can give is good enough: even $1 goes a long way towards getting our members to Atlanta. And if we exceed our goal, the excess funds will go towards our local chapter, which will allow us to do even more for our community in the future.
