Funeral Fundraiser for Dr. Michael (MinZhao) Zhong,

 

Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues of Dr. Zhong

 

I am writing to you today to let you know about the sudden loss of Dr. Mike Zhong. My mother Annie received a call in the morning from Guildford Plaza Dental on Monday, February 7th, 2022 after Dr. Zhong had failed to show up to his appointments. Annie called and rushed to Dr. Zhong's residence to find him deceased in his bedroom with lividity and rigor mortis already set in. This was unexpected and sudden as Dr. Zhong had been working at Sorrento Dental on Friday, and we, his family, had seen him Saturday evening where he had no symptoms and nothing out of the ordinary. My mother also spoke with him on the phone at around 21:00 Sunday evening. He had no previous medical conditions and is currently not on any medication.

 

The coroner has currently investigating the body to determine the exact cause of death. Once released and determined by the coroner, Dr. Zhong's body will be transferred to a Funeral home of our choosing.

*Update*

As of February 8th, 2022 the coroner has preliminarily determined the cause of death to be Atherosclerosis Coronary Artery Disease secondary to untreated Dyslipidemia and Dr Zhong being a chronic smoker.

 

As his step-son, I have started a funeral fundraiser with his daughter, Rose to help cover the cost of his funeral and lawyer expenses as Dr. Zhong did not leave a will. Our family was not prepared for this sudden loss, and during this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community that Dr. Zhong had a great impact on for help. Dr. Zhong was a caring father who also deeply valued the work he did in the field of dentistry. He often spoke to me about his work and the different types of procedures he'd have to perform. Dr. Mike Zhong is survived by his wife Annie, daughter Rose, and stepson, Jerry.

作为他的继子，我和他的女儿Rose一起发起了葬礼筹款活动，用于帮助支付他的葬礼费用和律师费，因为Zhong医生没能留下遗嘱。 我们家人并没有为他的突然离世做好准备，在这艰难的时刻，我们正在Zhong医生影响很大的社区寻求帮助。 Zhong医生是一位有爱心的父亲，他也非常重视他在牙科领域所做的工作。 他经常和我谈论他的工作以及他必须做的各种类型的手术。 Mike Zhong医生永远的离开了他的妻子Annie、女儿Rose和继子Jerry。
