Help Drew Whitaker march drum corps in 2025

Hello friends and family! I’m creating this as I’ve been pursuing music as a career path in my life, and have found drum corps to be the an exceptional educational and life experience. I have already marched four summers of drum corps, three at Battalion and one at Pacific crest. This up

coming drum corps season will be my second to last ever opportunity to participate as a student in the activity, which has shaped me and given me profound musical expression and job opportunities. As a result of doing drum corps, I had a job teaching a high school marching band as soon as I graduated high school. This immediately put me in the career field I wanted to be in, as well as gave me the chance to work with world class instructors, and equally world class human beings. Every summer so far I have been able to pay for it so far with small amounts of help and through work. The only difference from the summer of 2025 and all the previous summers is that I will be auditioning for two world class drum corps rather than only one as I have done in the past. This is an extreme musical,

emotional, and financial burden. As I have to fly to Texas in November and Southern California in December, I’m asking you all to help me get a boost with the flight expenses. All money will go directly towards flight expenses only, I will be paying the $5,500 in drum corp tuition entirely from the sweat of my brow. If you cannot help in anyway, I completely understand. You can’t beg and choose!! I deeply appreciate all my family members, friends, and teachers that have supported me on this seven year long journey of marching arts so far.
