Relief for a young family after Hurricane Helene

My name is Rachel I live and work in the Tampa Bay Area. A young couple who are dear 1st time buyers of mine that just closed on their Florida home this year after being called to duty with the U.S. Air Force in Tampa, FL for the next 4 years were largely impacted due to the storm surge from Hurricane Helene. They have suffered over 3 feet of water in their home destroying their furniture, personal belongings, A/C, garage, flooring, drywall, and much more.

This is the first time since their home was built in 1971 that it has ever flooded and this is the record high storm surge documented in this area. Their home is inhabitable as the power and water have still not come back on, in addition to the flooding that has taken place.

This fundraiser is in place to help pay for their homeowners/flood insurance premiums which are unfortunately pretty high in Florida, and hotel costs for themselves and their 1 dog. Any help that can be given is so beyond appreciated especially with this hurricane affecting one of our active duty Military members!! Thank you and God bless.
