I'm Cris Fakler, mother of Drew Fakler. For those who haven't heard, Drew, Alex, and Graysen's home was flooded in the Milwaukee area flood yesterday. They had 4' of water in their basement. They are not in a flood plain, so their insurance won't cover the damage. They were fortunate that Drew woke up to the sounds of water rushing in and things floating into each other. He was able to get help quickly. The restoration company was there today to rip out the carpet, remove drywall, and insulation. They've lost their furnace, dryer, water heater, and fridge. They also lost everything in a bedroom, storage room, and living room.

The event is being called the 500-year flood. There has never been anything like it in Milwaukee's history.

I'm putting this GoFundMe page together to help cover the restoration company fees, furnace, and other big appliances.

Please help them out if you can. Drew and Alex will appreciate anything you can do. None of us have personally been through a flood. It's overwhelming.
