Help Me Recover After ACL & Meniscus Surgery – $3,000 Goal

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be in a position where I had to ask for help like this, but right now, I truly don’t have another option.

Three days ago, I was released from the hospital after ACL and meniscus surgery. I’m home now, in pain, barely able to move around, trying to adjust to a completely different pace of life overnight. Simple things—getting up, walking, even just making it through the day—have become real challenges.

What’s made this even harder is that while I was out on short-term disability, my insurance was canceled without warning. So now, at the exact moment I need care the most, I can’t afford it. My doctors are telling me I need physical therapy three times a week for at least the next 30 days just to have a real chance at healing properly and walking normally again. Without it, I risk long-term damage… or not fully recovering at all.

At the same time, I still haven’t received a single check from short-term disability. My bills are behind, stress is building, and I’m now facing losing my storage unit with everything I own inside. The thought of losing everything while I’m stuck like this, unable to even go out and fix it, is honestly overwhelming.

I’m doing my best to stay strong, but the truth is… this is one of the lowest points I’ve been in. I’ve always been the one figuring it out, making a way, pushing through. Right now, I just can’t do it alone.

I’m asking for help to raise $3,000 to cover:

Physical therapy (3x a week for the next 30 days)

Basic living expenses while I recover

Keeping my storage unit so I don’t lose everything

Catching up on bills until my disability payments come through
