I'M ASKING FOR SUPPORT FOR MY SISTER. Most reading this know our mother died 5 weeks ago. My sister was her primary caretaker, and relieved a small stipend from Medicare, but she went into serious debt to cover living expenses and things my mother needed in her last months. We felt honored to provide for Mom, for her to finish her life in the comfort of her own home, and she was able to be in her garden often.

Thirty days, almost to the hour later, Dre broke her foot. It's a complicated break (a closed displaced fracture) and she might need surgery. She also has a corneal abrasion in her right eye.

She's applying for temporary disability and other assistance, we're asking for a little help until those things come through. Anything is much appreciated, including errands and prayers if you're unable to help financially.
