Hi, my name is Drake Shead, I’m 12 years old, and I’ve been training in Muay Thai since I was 6.

Muay Thai isn’t just a sport to me — it’s my passion, my lifestyle, and where I feel most alive. I wake up early to train before school and hit the gym again after classes Every day, I put in the work because I love this sport and I’m chasing a dream.

That dream? To represent Canada at the 2025 WBC Muay Thai World Games in Verona, Italy.

Being selected to compete at this level is an incredible honor. It means I get to stand on a world stage, test my skills against the best young fighters across the globe, and show the world what hard work really can do.

But I can’t get there alone.

I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — including travel to Verona, accommodations, tournament registration, meals, and training expenses.
