Help Drake on His Road to Recovery

If you know Drake, you probably have a story (or 20) about the time you needed help and he was there. Now it’s time for us to be there for him.

On Thursday, June 27th, Drake was in a terrible motorcycle accident. The driver who hit him was at fault and arrested for not having proof of insurance. Drake’s legs were severely broken in multiple places, and he will be having several surgeries in addition to the 2 he has already completed. His lower left leg is being fully reconstructed, and has rods and bolts in the right leg. In addition to that, his femur was broken, pelvis cracked, and lower vertebrae damaged. We are all so grateful that he is alive and no major internal injuries, but it is going to be a LONG road to recovery. He has been in the ICU and will be until this round of surgeries is completed. At least a month in the hospital after that.

We would like to make sure the one thing Drake doesn’t have to worry about is how he will pay his bills. He has always worked so hard and taken care of himself, and it is important to him to continue to be able to do so. We don’t have a time frame for recovery right now, but we’d like to raise enough money so that he can take care of everything for the next 6 months at least.
