My name is Ethan and Drake is my younger brother. At the end of June, our mother passed away in a terrible and tragic motorcycle accident. My mom was an incredible person who was always kind, loving, and never hesitated to tell us how proud she was of us. She loved all three of her children (me, Lindsay, and Drake), with every ounce of her being and the loss we feel at her passing is immeasurable and impossible to put into words.
My brother Drake just graduated high school earlier this May and despite everything is still looking forward to starting college this fall. One of the last things my mother spoke to me about the night before she passed, was helping Drake find a laptop for school. She knew that me and my sister would be able to find the best fit for his needs.
Me and my siblings all know computers well and we can thank our dad for that. Sadly, he passed away last year due to declining health from diabetes and CHF. Both of our parents loved us with all of their heart and soul. They shared their own passions with us, my mom's love for travel, both my parent's love for music, and my father’s love of technology. My dad's love for tech was instilled in Drake, and with his passion, has decided to go to Wallace State for Graphic Design.
We all want to buy the best computer possible for Drake, however with new expenses brought on by my mothers passing, we may not be able to purchase what he needs for such a technical field. I have set this goal so that we may be able to buy him a MacBook for school, this will allow him to use programs he needs for Graphic Design, have something portable and usable for studying, and will last him throughout his time at Wallace State. Any extra funds raised, will be put towards other college expenses, such as books, fees, etc.
