Help Drake Achieve His Aerospace Dreams

Hello friends.

I am reaching out now, after many weeks of deliberation whether to or not, while I have been trying to solve this issue myself. It is definitely a hit to my ego once again, but If I don't tell anyone, nobody can help.

Drake has been accepted to Embry Riddle for Aerospace Engineering in Daytona beach after he graduates. 'The Harvard of the Skies'. He has also recieved a scholarship paying 18k/ year out of a 60k/year balance. I cannot express how proud I am.

The next coming months are challenging for me, not only because of that- but also Alex has been accepted to high school Drumline! Great news yes, but about $200 fee, and needing constant rides to practice- but I want to support that talent 100%.

Then there's myself. I have Mayo clinic appointments coming up in June. The 'big round'. Usually takes 4 days to complete with procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, MRI, meeting with transplant services, the list goes on. It will require travel on my part, hotel, the usual.

Back to Drake. The University requires a $300 down payment on tuition, $200 for dorm/meal program due May 1st. I have tried and cannot get these fees waived.

Now for the big part.

- I would like to bring Drake down to University in August- to move in, attend orientation. I am his only parent now, his rock. He's moving across the country.. this won't be easy on any of us.

Anyways, I'd like to bring the kids down to Daytona for a few days to get Drake settled.

After that it is my wish to spend a few extra days together down there as a family.

This is because once I hit the transplant list- which will be coming up this next year, I will be bound to 3 hours within Mayo clinic Rochester indefinitely, and not able to travel to swim in the ocean if/when I do get transplant- for years.

All of us have agreed upon this wish. So here I am, exposed, spilling my soul out to you, my hopes, my dreams, my wishes. There is absolutely nothing in this world that could make me happier than to do this.

Please help if you can. I want these memories with the kids.
