Hi everyone, my name is Gregory. I’m a self-employed artist, a proud dog dad to my German Shepherd Drago, and I live in Orange County, California.

On December 4th, my life was turned upside down when a driver ran a red light and T-boned my car. The accident left me injured and completely sidelined. Since then, I’ve been dealing with mounting medical bills, ongoing pain, and an exhausting fight with insurance while my attorney works through a slow personal injury case.

To make matters worse, the insurance company is denying responsibility due to a clause they’re using to claim the driver was “non-permissive.” Because of this, I’m stuck covering everything while they argue it out. It’s hard to understand how someone can run a red light, cause serious damage, and walk away while the injured person is left drowning in bills.

My car is currently undrivable, with repair estimates around $3,500, leaving me stranded and unable to get to diabetes checkups, physical therapy, work, or even take Drago on his daily walks. Medical expenses, including the ER visit, have already reached $4,500, and my savings are completely gone as I wait for insurance resolution.

This situation has also taken a heavy emotional toll. The stress, uncertainty, and financial pressure have triggered severe anxiety and panic attacks and have significantly worsened my PTSD. It’s devastating how one irresponsible moment can completely upend another person’s life—and how little compassion insurance companies show during moments like this.

I’m asking for help to bridge the gap and stay afloat. Whether it’s $25 for gas, $100 toward medications or car repairs, or simply sharing this fundraiser—every bit truly helps. I’ve included photos of the car damage, medical bills, and of myself with Drago, my furry baby who depends on me.
