Draco is my 5 year old Bulldog Mix, and he means the world to me. At the beginning of April, I noticed a sudden change in his mood—he became very lethargic, lost his appetite, and started vomiting. After rushing him to the vet, Draco was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA), a rare and potentially severe condition where the immune system creates antibodies that destroy red blood cells faster than they can be replaced.

Since his diagnosis, Draco has had to undergo two blood transfusions and may need more in the coming days. The doctors have also recommended a plasma exchange procedure to help his body stop fighting itself. This has been an incredibly difficult time, and I am doing everything I can to give Draco the best chance at recovery.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering the costs of Draco's transfusions, treatment, medication, and ongoing care.
