Please Help Establish Black-Owned Chiro Practice In Vermont

Hello! My name is Dr. Taronté Venable. I am a board certified chiropractic neurologist that has recently relocated to practice in Bellows Falls, Vermont and am in the process of purchasing a successful and long standing practice in the state. Due to a lack of generational wealth, buying a house with my partner last year, delays due to the flooding in Vermont and having a hard time finding a job opportunity within the region for several months, my finances are currently limited. However, I am on track for being able to apply for an SBA loan to cover the cost of buying the space.
My dilemma is that I am required to make a down payment on this loan that his higher than I anticipated. Placing money aside by essentially making the minimal payments for any credit debt, I have anticipated being able to meet the current SBA loan requirement of a minimum 10% down by my estimated closing in January 2025, equating to $20,000. However, the bank that I would like to work with is requiring a 20% down payment to uphold our current offer. I intend to apply for a another loan, via a local non-profit, that may be able to provide up to $15,000 toward my down payment. Times are tough right now but if there is any assistance that you are willing to provide towards helping me reduce my $5,000 deficit, I would tremendously appreciate it.
Thank you so much for your contribution, big or small, and ultimately your support towards establishing a black-owned business in Vermont.
