Dear friends, family, and kindly strangers,

My name is Mallika Sheshadri. I'm a senior at Pasadena High School and I have had the privilege of being Dr. Anne Rardin's (Dr. R) student for the last three years. PHS’s beloved orchestra director, Dr. R, lost her home in the Eaton Fire. She, her husband, and her elderly mother have nothing except what they evacuated with. Not even one of the bowler hats she is famous for wearing around campus. She and her family are currently staying with cousins nearby.

Dr. R is a pillar in the PHS community. She is a walking ray of sunshine and the best orchestra director we could ever ask for. She rescued our music program from nothing and makes rehearsals so exciting. She is always there when we need her, and she loves our community deeply. If you can help her get back on her feet in the coming weeks and months, she would greatly appreciate it and so would we.

The funds will be used for any miscellaneous expenses that come up as Dr. R gets back on her feet.
