Dr. Jennifer Moller is a dedicated veterinarian who has spent years caring for the pets and families in our community. In 2019, she began the ambitious project of building a full-service veterinary hospital to better serve her patients. However, the journey has been filled with unexpected and heartbreaking challenges. The COVID epidemic brought construction to a halt, and the sudden loss of her architect left the project without crucial guidance. To make matters worse, the first contractor committed fraud and theft, taking a large sum for work that was never completed or done incorrectly. On top of these setbacks, the County imposed new requirements and fees, causing further delays and driving up costs far beyond the original projections.

Despite these overwhelming obstacles, Dr. Moller has never given up. She has worked incredibly long days, making house calls and doing everything possible to keep her dream alive. The hospital, once projected to be a manageable project, now requires much more to complete. Dr. Moller is just short of opening the doors and providing the care our pets need. All the equipment is already paid for and on site—what remains is to pay off outstanding debts and secure enough resources to staff and open the hospital.
