If you were fortunate enough to cross paths with Dr. Jeffrey Loomis, you remember him. There's no one like him. Wildly smart, completely authentic, and full of unmeasured, infectious passion. You may not know who Gerard Manley Hopkins is upon meeting him, but rest assured, you'll leave your first conversation convinced of his brilliance.
Since retiring from his position as an English professor at Northwest Missouri State University, Jeff has spent the last eight years enjoying life in Omaha, Nebraska, participating in the local choir, attending regular church and Bible study sessions, and attending countless screenings at the Dundee Theater. He's cherished every moment of his time as a Nebraskan.
Unfortunately, Jeff has recently encountered medical hardship, suffering multiple minor strokes. They've significantly harmed his short-term memory, jeopardizing his ability to maintain his good quality of life in Omaha. His current condition calls for assisted living, a steep expense in the current economy.
If you have a few dollars to spare and would like to help Jeff navigate this difficult time, please donate what you can. If financial contributions aren't feasible but you'd still like to help out, feel free to send a message. He'd surely appreciate them.
Thank you.
