Help Dr. Jack Fucci Fight His Battle with Leukemia
Donation protected
Dr. Jack Fucci was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), also known as Pre-Leukemia, in September of 2023.
Despite undergoing outpatient chemo, in mid January 2024 the MDS progressed to full blown Leukemia. He was admitted to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY four days after receiving the new diagnosis. He is expected to remain at Roswell for at least a month to undergo chemo treatments. Once the treatment is complete, he will continue with outpatient chemo for up to two months and then receive a bone marrow transplant. This transplant requires a second stay at Roswell Park, which will be for up to three additional months.
Dr. Jack is an active member of his community, serving as the Police Chaplin of the Oneida Police Department, as well as the Senior Pastor of Abounding Love Fellowship in Durhamville, NY. He is a husband, a father to five children, a grandfather to one granddaughter, and dog-parent to two adorable beagles.
Dr. Jack will be supported by his wife, Nancy, during his stay at the Cancer Center which is located 3 hours from their home in Oneida, NY. Housing and medical expenses can accumulate quickly and are unpredictable at this time. We (his 5 children) are hoping we can help him out financially during this stressful time by covering some expenses.
Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated.
