Dr. Dorothy Howell is the Chair of the Department of Health Services Administration, and she is truly one of the most remarkable individuals I have had the privilege of working with. Her dedication, warmth, and strength are evident in everything she does. You would never guess the heavy burden she is quietly carrying, as she continues to face each day with a smile and unwavering professionalism.

Right now, Dr. Howell’s family is in the midst of a challenging and heartbreaking situation. Her oldest daughter, Brittney, is bravely battling cancer. As many of us know, cancer treatment is not only emotionally exhausting, but also financially overwhelming.
