It is with a heavy heart that I write this request.

I have been practicing cannabis medicine with great joy for the past 15 years. Two years ago i was diagnosed with stage IV prostate cancer. At the point when I was diagnosed I already had metastatic disease in most of my bones and elsewhere. I underwent intensive treatment and was blessed to have a year-long remission, during which I was able to work. This past year has been more difficult, as the cancer returned and I have been much more unwell. I was given an experimental treatment (radium) that has eliminated much of the cancer but has also severely damaged my bone marrow and left me feeling exhausted. For the past 8 Months I have not been able to work much as I have undergone multiple hospitalizations and have needed regular blood transfusions. Despite all this hardship I have begun to work very part time once again, seeing 1-2 patients on the days I feel well enough to do so.

Sadly, though, this is not enough to keep me financially afloat. Due to my 6 year battle with the medical board over my cannabis practice (and being swindled by an unscrupulous business manager) I have used up practically all my personal savings.

I feel awkward asking for financial help, but the truth is, I could really use some support at this time so that I can continue to rest and recover from treatment and keep on fighting the cancer.
