My name is Saqr Hisham Arouq, and I am a 33-year-old father of four beautiful children: Moatasem Billah (11), Hisham (10), Linda (6), and Mira (8 months). My wife, Khawla, and I have always worked hard to provide for our family, ensuring they had everything they needed—food, education, safety, and love. Our children were thriving, full of joy and dreams for the future.
But since October 7, our world has been turned upside down. My family’s life has been shattered. Our home was destroyed, and we were forced into displacement, moving through five governorates with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Today, we live in a worn-out fabric tent that offers no protection against the sweltering heat of summer or the biting cold of winter.
We face unimaginable struggles daily. Food and clean water are scarce, and my children are suffering from diseases caused by pollution, poor sanitation, and a lack of medical care. The overflow of sewage on public roads and the absence of solid waste management have only worsened their condition. Skin diseases and other health issues have taken a toll on my children, and it breaks my heart to see them in pain.
I am reaching out to you for help. Your support can make an extraordinary difference in our lives. Donations will go towards:
-Basic necessities: Food and clean water to keep my family healthy.
-Shelter: A safe place for my children to call home.
-Medical care: Treatment for the diseases and illnesses affecting my children.
-Education: Giving my children the chance to continue their schooling and build a brighter future.

No contribution is too small—every act of kindness brings us closer to hope and healing.
