Help Dr. Bhurwal's Family Through Crisis

Dr. Bhurwal is a well known and loved gastrointestinal doctor at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Georgia. He is very passionate about his family, friends and patients. He was living the American dream of family until his world was shattered on September 30th.
Dr. Bhurwal and his wife Val were recently wedded and have just added their newborn son, Arjun to the family on September 25th. All was perfect until Val began having a migraine on the 30th. Dr. Bhurwal took her to be evaluated at the hospital. There she was diagnosed with a stroke and left unable to see and very weak. That night she was found to have Stsge 4 choriocarcinoma. With a diagnosis of this magnitude the doctors went into immediate action. Val received her first chemotherapy and radiation that very night. As of now she is in neuro ICU at Mayo. She is having seizures and is being treated for this as well. Dr. Bhurwal is dividing his time between caring for Arjun and his wife. This is going to be a long rough road for this new family. We would like to come together and extend our love, care and prayers to them and lift them up before God. Please help in any way that you can.UPDATE…. Val continued to decline despite rigorous therapies. With her family at her side Val has lost the fight of cancer. It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Val Bhurwal.
