Hello, everyone! I am Dr. Ali Alghaliz, a volunteer doctor in northern Gxzxxa. During this w@r, my life has been completely uprooted, and my family has been facing many earth-shattering difficulties for which I am now in dire need of your support.

I was born and raised in this beloved land and have lived through 4 w@rs here (2008, 2014, 2021, 2023). Although I am only 28 years old, I am the main provider and head of my household of 9 family members (mostly school aged) with the youngest being 14 years old.

Since the beginning of October ‘23, my family has been forcibly displaced throughout the northern Gxzzxa strip four times. On October 13th, 2023, we lost my uncle and ten of my cousins in an airstrike, and this airstrike had also decimated our house to rubble in an area that we have physically been unable to reach till this day.

Despite our terrible living situation, the grievous conditions surrounding the hospitals I’ve been volunteering in, and receiving zero pay, I have worked for 230+ days (some times around the clock!) without abandoning my duties and my oath as a physician. I will continue to take care of the ill, the poor, and the injured for as long as I am alive.

While trying to help my patients in the northern Gxzzxa strip, I am concurrently requiring your assistance in trying to help my family survive this conflict as well as the aftermath of it. My goals are to ensure the survival of my family, to rebuild our destroyed home, to help my small siblings attain their education, and later, to continue my specialized medical studies in Europe as I had planned to do before this w@r started so that i can do far more good for the people upon returning.

My family and I are presently facing all means of de@th including ongoing bOm.blng, forced starvation, no clean water, no electricity, lack of bare necessities, communicable illnesses, and so many more fatalities. It is quite challenging to even get to the hospital for work with no transportation or money available for such commodities!

Your financial contributions and compassion will mean the world to my whole family and to me. With your generosity, we will be able to continue to survive and will get through these ordeals, God-willingly. My hopes are for the w@r to end, for an easier and better life for all P@lestInians who have been affected, and for us to live with dignity and peace.
