Help Dovima Find a Safe Home

Hi, I'm Dovima. I recently transitioned full-time and just had gender-affirming surgery 3 days ago. Now, I am faced with moving! Moving in Portland is no easy feat; moving as a trans woman is even more difficult. It presents challenges that people don't always understand. I need to move somewhere safe, in a safe neighborhood, with accepting housemates. I need to move somewhere that is supportive of me as I am and how I look.

I'm trying to stay in the same NE Sullivans Gulch neighborhood where my entire life is—my job, my therapist, my friends. With medical bills from surgeries, even ones that are entirely covered, there are always expenditures that you don't foresee. On top of moving. I'm really finding myself in a tight spot and its scary. If there's some kind of way that you feel moved to help, please do so. I thank you humbly from the bottom of my heart.
